"When Jesus taught, He used illustrations about real life. Things that happened in the real world. He would say, 'The kingdom of heaven is like…' and then he would tell a story. Not only did Jesus teach about real life but he lived in it. His Word and His World are connected through real life.
When it comes to being grounded, we want to help people know Christ so that they can grow in Christ so that they can go with Christ to those who do not know Christ. It is a natural cycle that happens through real life experience. The picture of this is that you start with a seed, which becomes a root which sends up a shoot that bears fruit which has the seed for the next plant."
